Dr. Jorge Goldberg is a senior consultant for Mexico and Latin America for Cedars-Sinai International in Los Angeles since 2003. In addition, he is one of the founding members of Clinica Lomas Altas in Mexico City where he has practiced internal medicine and gastroenterology for over three decades. Prior to that, he co-founded Internistas Asociados. Dr. Goldberg also serves on the advisory board of IMIFAP, a non-profit organization that focuses on health prevention and life skills training for people struggling with poverty, and he is a member and co-founder of Gastrica, a boutique endoscopy suite in Mexico City.
Dr. Goldberg is a staff member of A.B.C. Hospital in Mexico and was co-director of the Department of Medicine from 2003-2005. He is also a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Mexican Board of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.
Dr. Goldberg completed his fellowship training in internal medicine and gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins Hospital/Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1982 and earned his medical degree with honors from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in 1977.
