Dr. Mark Noah is associate dean of Medical Education in Academic Affairs at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is also professor of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai and Health Sciences Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA (DGSOM).
He received his bachelor's and medical degrees from UCLA. He completed an internship and a residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai and a fellowship in medical education at UCLA.
Dr. Noah served as program director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai for over 20 years and has served in multiple educational roles at DGSOM, including as co-chair of the Medical Education Committee. He has received awards for teaching excellence at both Cedars-Sinai and UCLA and was a recipient of the Clinician-Teacher Award from the California Region Society of General Internal Medicine. He is the inaugural holder of the Melvin Brody, MD, Chair in Medical Education at Cedars-Sinai.
A member of numerous academic societies, Dr. Noah served as president of the Southern California Society for General Internal Medicine. He is an elected fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP). He is a past governor of Southern California Region 1 of the ACP and is the immediate past president of California ACP services.
